SERVE IN COMMUNITY

At Fowler Community, we offer a variety of ministries, reaching a mix of demographics to serve our local community. It is essential to realize that these individual ministries are only part of our broader community as we strive toward Christ-centered corporate worship.

MINISTRIES

Young Adults: A group of people who have graduated high school to thirty-something who seek to build relationships and study God’s Word. This group typically meets on the third Friday of the month from 6:00-8:00 pm. Contact: Pastor David and Stephanie Pykare – 330-770-1039

Women’s Bible Study: The ladies meet weekly for Bible study and prayer. Contact: Kathy Czako: 330-637-4004

Men’s Group: The men meet for teaching and fellowship monthly. This includes breakfast before church on Sunday mornings and special events. Contact: Dave Stewart- 330-240-1842

Children’s Church and VBS: Grades Pre-K-6th meet on Sunday mornings during the service for worship, bible lessons, and other fun activities. VBS is a summer ministry program to share the gospel with kids in our community. Contact: Tanga Stewart- 330-924-2252

Missionary Helpers: They meet the first Monday of each month to fellowship, pray for missionaries, review correspondence, and disburse monthly support funds as needed. Fowler Community gives 16% of its monthly income to missions and supports a variety of international, national, and local mission efforts. Contact Gina Dickson- 330-720-0195

Safety Team: The team is charged with keeping our congregation safe during Sunday worship and other events. They meet often for planning, training, and organizing safety plans and procedures. Contact: Tom Carr- 330-637-6795

Military Ministry: A ministry focused on blessing those in military families and supporting troops through the generosity of our community. This includes sending Christmas boxes, care packages, and gift cards to servicemen, women, and their families. Contact: Cathy Carr 330-637-3378

Willing Workers: For 130 years, this group has ministered to families in their time of bereavement by serving funeral dinners. They also make prayer quilts for those going through illness and trauma and host the annual Free Harvest Dinner. Meetings are every third Wednesday of the month at 10:30 a.m. for a meeting and lunch, including some adventure time. Contact: Kathy Rager-330-394-1821
